Aave: Aave is an open-source and non-custodial liquidity protocol for earning interest on deposits and borrowing assets.

Altcoin: Altcoin is a combination of two words: ‘alt’ and ‘coin’ where alt means ‘alternative’ and coin means ‘cryptocurrency’. Together they imply a category of cryptocurrency, which is an alternative to the digital Bitcoin currency.

Binance: Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange that provides a platform for trading various cryptocurrencies. It was founded in 2017 and is domiciled in the Cayman Islands. Binance is currently the largest exchange in the world in terms of daily trading volume.

Binance USD (BUSD): Binance USD (BUSD) is a new USD-denominated stablecoin approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) that will be launched in partnership with Paxos and Binance.

Bitcoin Cash: Bitcoin Cash is the second-largest fork of the Bitcoin network, next to BTC. It has a passionate community which includes investor Roger Ver and BitMain co-founder Jihan Wu.

Bounty: A cryptocurrency bounty is a reward users receive for performing tasks assigned by a given blockchain or project.

Cardano: Cardano is a third-generation, decentralized proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain platform designed to be a more efficient alternative to proof-of-work (PoW) networks.

Cold Wallet: A cryptocurrency wallet is in cold storage, i.e. not connected to the internet.

Core Wallet: A core crypto wallet is able to contain the entire blockchain, rather than just a piece of blockchain.

Dai: Dai is a stable coin cryptocurrency which aims to keep its value as close to one United States dollar (USD) as possible through an automated system of smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. Dai is maintained and regulated by MakerDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) composed of the owners of its governance token, MKR, who may vote on changes to certain parameters in its smart contracts in order to ensure the stability of Dai.

Dogecoin: Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency created by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, who decided to create a payment system as a joke, making fun of the wild speculation in cryptocurrencies at the time. Despite its satirical nature, some consider it a legitimate investment prospect.

EOS: EOS is a blockchain-based, decentralized system infrastructure that enables the development, hosting, and execution of commercial-scale decentralized applications on its platform. No official full form exists for EOS, and the creators have decided not to formally define it themselves.

Ethereum: Ethereum is a decentralized, open-source blockchain with smart contract functionality. Ether (ETH or Ξ) is the native cryptocurrency of the platform. After Bitcoin, it is the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. Ethereum is the most actively used blockchain.

Flow: Flow token (“FLOW”) is the native currency for the Flow network and the keystone for a new, inclusive, and borderless digital economy. This feature is in beta testing.

Gnosis: Gnosis is decentralized prediction market built on the Ethereum protocol. Third-party developers will also be able to introduce their own services.

Hive: Hive is a cryptocurrency of HIVE Blockchain Technologies Company, which listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange in 2017, under the ticker symbol HIVE. The company uses 100% green energy to mine both Bitcoin and Ethereum, with a committed ESG strategy since day one.

Infinitecoin: Infinitecoin (IFC) is a cryptocurrency . Users are able to generate IFC through the process of mining.

Observer (OBSR): Observer (OBSR) is a utility coin that promotes crowd-sourced weather data trading. Individuals earn OBSR by sending personal weather observations, such as air temperature, pressure, humidity, and fine dust concentrations, to the Observer Foundation.
